The weather has finally started to perk up and things are looking cheerful once again!! We have a few exciting events taking place at PMC over the coming few months- on the 9th March we are holding a church car boot sale. Tables are just £10 each with all funds going towards the church cafe project- its a perfect time to do a spring declutter so let me know if you’d like to book a space.
We are holding a bouquet making workshop in church on the 6th April- see the advert printed in the courier. This workshop will be taught by me- for those of you who don’t know I am a City and Guilds assessor and in my previous working life I used to teach apprentices as well as owning a florist shop. The idea is to have fun learn a new skill and to try and involve the church community with the wider community as the class is open to all.
I would like to invite you all to attend our craft group which runs on the third Monday of the month 2-4 in the fellowship room. We have a guest teacher each month who shows us all how to make new craft projects and even brings all the materials along with her- we urgently need new members to the group- please come along and give it a try!!
Lastly a plea for some more helpers at Little lambs please. Some of our fantastic helpers aren’t able to commit after Easter so we really need to recruit a few more helpers particularly to help make the teas and coffees. It would be such a huge shame should the group have to close but without enough helpers we can’t carry on. If you feel you can help- even just for 1 hour a month please let me know.
As always please let me know if there is anything you would like to see running at church, and if you have an event/prayer meeting etc booked please please remember to check I have it in the diary!!!!
